Stade Francais stalwart to join La Rochelle - report
- 1918
Stade Francais centre Jonathan Danty is set to join Gael Fickou in leaving the Parisian club with the centre set to sign with La Rochelle.
Danty has spent his entire professional career at Stade Francais having broken into the first team in 2011 but according to Le Equipe, he will depart the club at the end of the season.
Gael Fickou has left Stade Francais to join rivals Racing 92 and Danty is set to following him out of the door as Stade Francais trim their payroll.
According to the report, Danty has made the decision to leave Stade Francais having signed a pre-contract agreement with La Rochelle several months ago but has since confirmed that he will depart Paris.
Stade Francais are apparently making a last-ditch attempt at hanging onto Danty with Fickou's departure freeing up space on the wage bill. Marcos Kremer is also set to leave Stade Francais to join Racing 92.
