PRO14 Round 1 Highlights: Ospreys v Edinburgh

The Ospreys got their Pro14 campaign off to a winning start as they edged Edinburgh 17-13 in the opening round. The first half was a real arm wrestle, characterized by strong defence from both sides as each slotted a single penalty to head into the break deadlocked at 3-3. Edinburgh hit the front with a penalty, but the Ospreys crossed for the games opening try to head into the final quarter with a 10-6 advantage. The Ospreys struck again soon after with their second try to take control of the match at 17-6. Edinburgh ran in a late try to set up a tense finish, but the visitors would ultimately fall just short as the Ospreys held on for a hard fought four point victory.
