Munster: team news update

Munster’s full Ireland contingent will return to the squad after their Six Nations concluded with an impressive 32-18 victory over the English. The players include: Tadhg Beirne, Craig Casey, Keith Earls, Chris Farrell, Dave Kilcoyne, Conor Murray, Peter O’Mahony and CJ Stander.

Kilcoyne, however, will be carefully monitored and required to follow the relevant protocols after his HIA test.

Scrumhalf Paddy Patterson will consult a specialist this week regarding his ankle – an injury he picked up against Benetton last Friday. He has already undergone an MRI scan.

Hooker Kevin O’Byrne appears to be over his chest injury and has resumed full training.
