32 year old Dean Mumm will stay on at the Waratahs for another year. Mumm has put pay to retirement rumours with this contract extension.

Leon Power joins the Waratahs:

Leon Power has signed witht he Waratahs from Oyonnax in France. Power has 20 Super Rugby caps to his name afte 2 seasons with the Brumbies.

Leon MacDonald joins Crusadders:

The Crusaders have appointed ex player and All Black, Leon MacDonald, for the next 2 years as assistant backs coach.

Tomas Lavanini out for the year:

Argentina have lost star lock Lavanini to a knee ligament injury that requires surgery. He is set to miss the rest of the Rugby Championship as well as the November Tests
