Springbok speedster Cheslin Kolbe has enjoyed rich success over the past 12 months winning the Top 14 with Toulouse as well as the Rugby Championship and Rugby World Cup with the Springbok, however, he is keen to add to his trophy cabinet.
The winger, who scored in the Rugby World Cup Final against England, was named as the winner of Midi Olympique's Oscars of World 2019 player of the year award on Monday and speaking at the event he confirmed that he was interested in joining the South African Sevens squad for the Tokyo Olympics.

"I want to be a European champion with Toulouse and we can maybe do it this season. This is my next goal, with the one I hope, to represent South Africa with the national team at 7 at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. " Kolbe told Midi Olympique.
Kolbe was part of the 2016 Olympic squad in Rio de Janeiro where South Africa topped their pool, losing just one pool game to Australia and went on to claim a Bronze medal.
As for his hopes of claiming silverware with Toulouse, the defending Top 14 champions reached the semi-finals of the Champions Cup last season and kicked off their 2019/20 season with a come-from-behind 20-25 win over Gloucester this past weekend.
