Champions Cup Highlights: Wasps v Ulster
- 1632
Wasps started the game with real intent - Guy Thompson's try gave the hosts a 7-0 lead inside 12 minutes. The try was scored on the back of a well set driving maul, a weapon Wasps used well throughout the game. Ulster were handed a lifeline when Wade and Le Roux both made abasic handling errors which allowed Sean Reidy to power over from close range. However, that was the only time Ulster really looked like scoring a try. Tom Curse managed to get on the end of a Le Roux cross kick which gave Wasps a 14-7 lead at the interval. Dai Young's men started the second half really well and tries from Le Roux and Cooper-Woolley really solidified their dominance in the game. FT at the Ricoh Arena, Wasps deserved 26-7 victors.
