Bristol v Exeter - 3 Top Performers

Bristol v Exeter - 3 Top Performers

Although there was two teams in it, it would be unfair on the Exeter players if a Bristol player was included in the top 3 of the night as they comprehensively won 41-17.

Olly Woodburn

The winger worked hard around the park leading the kick chance line for the Exeter. Woodburn scored two tries in the game causing all sorts of problems for Bristol. Woodburn's performance earned him the man of the match before.

Gareth Steenson

The fly half led the attack from Exeter managing and controlling the game well. Exeter's scoreline was a result of five tries along with an excellent kicking game from Steenson. He kicked 5 conversions and two penalties with a total of 7/7 kicks for Exeter, a classy performance from the number 10.

Thomas Waldron

The big number 8 managed to get two tries in Exeter's win over Bristol. Waldron's experience showed as he led from the front with a physical performance for the Chiefs. Waldron had a wonderful  finish for his first try as he peeled from the back of a rolling mall to score just before the end of the first half. His second came just 12 minutes later again off the set piece, a very impressive performance from the number 8.
