Billy Vunipola to miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season

Saracens have confirmed that Billy Vunipola miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season after suffering a knee injury during Sunday’s Champions Cup clash with La Rochelle.

The former Wasps player was taken off on a stretcher during the first half of Saracens' quarter-final defeat. 

Saracens have not yet disclosed exactly how long the England No 8 is set to be out for but he will play no further part in their 2022-2023 campaign.

Vunipola has won 67 caps since his England debut in 2013, but has not played since the defeat by South Africa in November.
