Alandré van Rooyen joins London Irish

London Irish can today confirm that hooker Alandré van Rooyen has joined the Club with immediate effect for the rest of the 2021/22 season.

The South African has tested his skills across a variety of competitions, including the Provincial Cup with Blue Bulls, the Pro14 with Southern Kings, and the Currie Cup with Griquas.

“Alandré provides more competition for places at hooker, and we are happy that he has agreed to join the Club,” said Declan Kidney, Director of Rugby.

“He has good experience across several competitions, and we look forward to seeing what he can do in a London Irish jersey.”
