On the South Africa game:

"I don't think the general emotions have changed. There is still an air of disappointment, let an opportunity slip. I think we all understand we weren't at our best and that's a real shame.

"To be taking on South Africa and to not have put our best game forward, we did it in parts but not overall. The disappointment is there but looking back at the game and had some conversations we have spotted opportunities where we could have imposed ourselves and didn't."

On confidence of getting to quarter-finals:

"Absolute confidence."

On injury updates in the team:

"It appears absolute clean bill of health out of the game. Finn [Russell] is all good. Clearly it was a very physical game, as you would expect, and so the odd bruise and bump but nothing that is going to keep people out."

On Ewan Ashman and Luke Crosbie's fitness:

"Progressing nicely. Luke is going through the gears and Ewan is bouncing around and looking good. We will have to finish off their processes and get the final tick. We have got time. "

On if family time will give players a lift:

"100 per cent, the group is built on connection. There are strong connections between us and that allows us to have the conversations to get better.

"[The] connection with our families and fans and supporters is also massively important to us. It's a great boost for everybody to share some family time."
