Nafitalai Maafu was a standout Men's Junior All-American who first made waves with Tempe Rugby during the USA High School All-American tour to British Columbia in 2016.
He joined the AIG Men's Junior All-Americans for the World Rugby Trophy Qualification Series in 2017 against Canada.
He joined the Perpignan senior ranks during the 2021/22 season before leaving the club to join Biarritz ahead of the next season.
