Tadjer was born in Massy, France and qualifies to play for Portugal through through Portuguese father. Outside of the rugby pitch, Mike Tadjer took a degree in business and sales and is currently making use of it as he started his first business.
At the age of eleven he started playing rugby for RC Massyone which would also be his first team as a senior player
In 2008/09 he signed for Racing Metró 92 and helped them secure a Pro D2 championship, playing in three matches across all season.
In 2012 he chose to play for Portugal, a dream that he had since as a child. His first cap was against Romania in February 2012 for the Europe Nations Cup.
Tadjer signed with French side Agen in 2015. He has since become a regular squad member of whether its on the bench or in the starting line-up.
He is a physical presence for the French side and has helped his side to a solid performance in the 2016/17 Pro D2 season.
Following a good season in the Pro D2 with Agen, Tadjer signed for Brive.
The hooker impressed during the 2017/18 Top14 season and following Brive's relegation he signed for newly promoted side Grenoble.
Ahead of the World Rugby Cup 2023, Tadjer has been named in the squad for Portugal.
