@Joel Barritt took a heavy knock and limped off. Not a blood replacement.

Joubert crosses for Saracens second try! Some good continuity and precise passing from Charlie Hodgson created space in the wide channel for Ernst Joubert to cross over in the corner for Saracens. A well worked try. Hodgson's conversion attempt sneaks over with the help of the inside of the post.

Saracens building an attack in the Sale half

Why? Is it for blood

Another excellent kick from Charlie Hodgson as he extends his side's lead further following an infringement at the ruck from Sale.

Hodgson makes no mistake with his effort from distance. Saracens now lead by 6

Very strong scrum from Saracens as they win a penalty. Hodgson opts for the posts.

But Danny Cipriani wastes the momentum with a missed drop at goal. The ball drifts wide of the posts.

Sale are looking more comfortable on the ball now as they build the phases inside the Saracens half

Try Sale! A rolling maul off the back of a lineout from the Sharks proves too much to handle for Saracens as they are blown away. Good response from the Sharks to going behind early on. Cipriani is successful with the conversion.
