Sale have started this second half more brightly. They win a penalty just inside the Saracens half. Cipriani kicks them into the corner.

Charlie Hodgson gets the second half underway

Penalty try for Saracens! The hosts force the Sale scrum backwards. The scrum collapses and JP Doyle has no option but to award a penalty try. Thoroughly deserved. Hodgson adds the conversion to take his side into a 30-7 half time lead. Live coverage of the second-half coming up in a few minutes!

Huge tackle from Sale in defence just 5 metres short of their line that was no doubt a try saving tackle. Their best passage of defence in the game thus far.

@Kieran, I don't think it was serious.

But the line-out comes to nothing as Saracens lose the ball forward. Scrum Sharks

Saracens with another big scrum. Hodgson kicks them down into the Sale 22. Line-out Saracens in a good position

Did it look serious? Or just a "couple-of-weeks" thing?

But the ball spills forward and is collected by McClean. He clears his lines up-field

Saracens are on the attack once again.
