As a Leinster fan, and also not the cleanest of rugby players, I completely agree with the general shooing of players and if Evans had stood on his head once I would have reckoned a yellow was the way to go but it was repeated stamping on a player, who even if he didn't know his exact position, had to realise his head was there somewhere. The others were looking after the rest of him!
Leinster are through to the quarter finals after beating Ospreys 36-3. A game which was effectively over in the first half after Ian Evans was sent off and Leinster ran in two tries. Both teams started the second half quite flat, but in the final 20 Leinster came to life and cruised to victory running in a further 3 tries. Leinster have advanced into the quarter finals, be it home or away no team will want to face them as they are hitting some form now. Ospreys campaign is over and to be blunt was abysmal, this game summed up their campaign. That brings an end to our coverage. Thanks for following on Ultimate Rugby, enjoy the rest of the rugby this weekend!
Way to go boys in blue
Now starts the work of the citing committee!
Ian Madigan knocks on and brings game to an end. Full time at the RDS and Leinster have ran out 36-3 winners. Match report to come.
No try ball was knocked on. Leinster penalty though and they tap and go.
At least he stayed on the island... #bowe
Gone to the TMO as Leinster have dived over. Isaac Boss was pulled back so they have an advantage but the ball was bundled around and trying to see if the ball was grounded.
With 40 seconds left both sides look like they want to get off the pitch. Ospreys scrum inside their own 22 and suspect Ospreys will clear.
Oh there's always one
