Leinster take a 21-6 lead over Edinburgh into halftime. Edinburgh opened the scoring with a penalty, but Leinster hit back shortly after with a try to lead 7-3. Edinburgh then picked up a yellow card around the half hour mark and Leinster capitalized with a second try to make it 14-3. Edinburgh pulled three points back with a penalty, but a third Leinster score with the final play of the half sees them hold a 15 point advantage at the break.
