Australia defeat Argentina 15-29 in a pulsating world cup semi final. Australia off to a flyer with two Adam Ashley-Cooper tries in the opening quarter giving them a commanding lead. Argentina hung on and the boot of Nicolas Sanchez kept them in it for the rest for the half. the second half was a much tighter affair, until a third Adam Ashley-Cooper try finished the game as a contest. Ashley-Cooper deservedly picked up the MOTM award, as Australia go on to face New Zealand in the final next week.
