The following year he represented TUKS in the Varsity Cup and made his first class debut in the Vodacom Cup.

It was much of the same for the youngster in 2016 as he was once again named in the South Africa U20 squad.
Later that year he was named in the Bulls Currie Cup squad but he failed to make his debut.
In 2017 he was included in the Bulls Currie Cup squad and made his debut in the opening round against the Griquas.
Jackson impressed during the 2017 Currie Cup and was named in the Bulls 2018 Super Rugby squad.
In 2019, Jackson joined the Southern Kings. In May 2021, he signed for French PROD2 team Rouen.
