Coming out of Grey High School Westraadt attended the University of Cape Town and was involved with Western Province.
In 2009 he signed for the Pumas and the tough hooker helped the side lift the Vodacom Cup for the first time in 2015.
His excellent scrummaging ability and work ethic has made him one of the Pumas most valued front rowers.
