Stiles was part of the Reds Under 21s in 1993 and 1994, and made his senior Queensland starting debut in 1998.
Good performances saw him being named into the Wallabies squad and was an integral part of the team until 2003, including matches against the British and Irish Lions.
After his retirement from playing, Stiles has over 11 years of coaching experience, including six seasons as a Super Rugby assistant and two at the helm of Brisbane City, guiding them to back-to-back National Rugby Championships.
On July 26th, 2016, he was announced as the new head coach of the Reds after signing a deal that will see him coach the side for two Super Rugby seasons.
