Urios participated in the first edition of the European Cup in 1996 with Castres, playing both games against Munster and Swansee.
Having represented Carcassonne for 5 seasons, he took a coaching career with Castres, qualifying them for the European Cup in 2005.
In 2007, Urios took over Oyonnax rugby in the Pro D2, guiding them into the Top 14 at the end of the 2012-2013 season after finishing atop of the Pro D2 table.
The former hooker then re-joined Castres as head coach in 2015, after a successful stint as Castres where he won the title in 2018 he made the switch to Bordeaux ahead of the 2019/20 season.
