Conan O’Donnell to join Sunwolves for the rest of the season

Sunwolves have announced that prop Conan O’Donnell will join the side for the rest of the season from Connacht.

O'Donnell went on to make a total of nine senior appearances in his three years in the Connacht academy system before signing a senior professional contract with the province for the 2018/19 season.

Tahuriorangi re-signs with NZ Rugby

All Blacks and Chiefs halfback Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi has announced he has re-signed with New Zealand Rugby until 2021.

24-year-old Tahuriorangi, a product of Rotorua Boys' High School, headed south to New Plymouth making his provincial debut in 2015 for Taranaki following the success of the New Zealand Under 20’s campaign.

Ben Smith ruled out for up to 8 weeks

All Blacks & Highlanders fullback Ben Smith has been ruled out for 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury.

Smith suffered the injury during the 31-31 draw with the Chiefs at the weekend.
