Try analysis | Dummy runner, tap on and Dingwall is away
- 253
In the 6th minute of the first Champions Cup quarter-final between Bath and Northampton Saints, the Saints backs pulled out all the tricks for Fraser Dingwall to score.
Lets have a look at how they did it.
1. Northampton have a lineout close to the Bath 10m.

Northampton throw to the middle of the lineout and they bring it down. This means they pull in the Bath defenders. After bringing it down, Tom Pearson comes out and passes it straight to Rory Hutchinson.

Hutchinson carries hard with JJ van der Mescht coming in short.

Hutchinson makes the pass behind van der Mescht's back to Archie McParland. The scrumhalf needs to reach out for the ball and taps it on for Fin Smith.

Tommy Freeman comes off his wing and receives the pass from Smith.

Freeman breaks the tackles of Henry Arundell and Tom Dunn.

The winger draws Will Muir and passes to Fraser Dingwall to finish off a great move!

Great play from the Saints backs. Passes in front of the players and running out of depth and the visitors were over
