Nick Evans

The out-half rolled back the years tonight, leading his Harlequins side to an impressive victory against a Wasps team filled with international stars. As usual, he ran the game superbly and kicked points from virtually everywhere on the field. He finished up with 22 points in total and only missed one kick at goal in the entire game. He also treated the fans to some lovely touches, including sumptuous handling to put Visser away down the outside, a magnificent break after a right-foot step, and a pin-point accurate kick to Marland Yarde that very easily could have resulted in a try. He was given a well-deserved standing ovation on 79’ minutes, when he was substituted and he was awarded the MOTM award for his outstanding performance tonight. An emotional farewell for a Quins legend in what will likely be his last ever game at The Stoop.

Zane Kirchner

Kirchner impressed in what was his final regular game at the RDS before his move to the Newport Gwent Dragons this summer. The fullback was an ever present threat in attack, setting up the opening try with a magnificent inside line, while also showing impressive decision making in the 2-on-1 that resulted, as well as crossing the whitewash himself in the second half. The South African provided a few vital clearances and tackles, one in particular to deny an offload that would have resulted in a definite try.

Finn Russell

Finn Russell showed the difference he can make when he's on the field, after making his appearance off the bench midway through the second half. The outhalf gave his side a much needed spark in attack, creating fast ball for Glasgow which resulted in Jones' vital try very soon after his entrance. Russell then went on to display some magnificent footwork at Leinster's line to get on the scoreboard himself,as well as slotting 2/2 conversions.
