Taranaki beat Auckland in the first ITM Cup Premiership semi final on Saturday. The incredible match went into extra time, with the scores being level 30-30 after 80 minutes. Taranaki finally triumphed 49-30 in the match and will face Tasman in the final next weekend, after their beat Canterbury, winners of the last 6 NPC / ITM Cup titles, in the other semi final.
