Stade Francais confirm three new signings including Springbok Vincent Koch

Stade Francais have confirmed the signing of Vincent Koch and Paolo Odogwu from Wasps as well as Fijian utility back Peniasi Dakuwaqa.

Springbok tighthead prop arrives from Wasps after failing to make his debut for the side before they entered administration. The 38 test cap props reportedly drew interest from the likes of Sale Sharks and Munster but has signed on until the end of the season with Stade Francais. He arrives as a medical joker for Paul Alo-Emile.

Joining Koch in making the move to Paris is former Wasps flyer Paolo Odogwu. The 25-year-old is comfortable in the centres and on the wing. Benetton were reportedly interested in signing Odogwu and could still secure his services next season as he joins Stade Francais as injury cover for Sefa Naivalu.

Finally, Stade Francais have signed Fijian utility back Peniasi Dakuwaqa. He arrives from Fijian club Tupapa Maraerenga as cover for the injured Telusa Veainu.

The former Wasps pair follow Brad Shields and Biyi Alo in joining French club. Shields signed for Perpignan while Alo joined Racing 92.

Meanwhile, Josh Bassett signed with Harlequins.

Stade currently sit second overall on the Top 14 standings having won five of their opening eight matches. They trail league leaders Toulouse by nine points.

The Parisian club finished eleventh overall last season winning just 11 matches.
