Since the moment scrum-half Rhys Webb botched a box kick inside his own 22 at
the start of the second half against England, Wales have been on the
defensive
First it was England
whom they attempted to repel for most of that second period of a match that
they appeared to have in control when 16-8 up at the break.
Then it was the furore over the George North concussion, which Wales
attempted to quell all week.
Wales did not win either battle.
England’s line speed in defence and their
superior set-piece and kicking game were all
