Newly promoted Premiership side Saracens have secured the services of a top-class Samoan athlete in Theo McFarland.
The 25 year-old McFarland has represented his country at both rugby union and basketball and, most recently, enjoyed a stint with the Dallas Jackals in Major League Rugby.
At 6’6″ and 115kg, McFarland will add some considerable beef to the second row while his obvious ball skills will render him a considerable asset in the line-out.
“When I heard I was gonna join the Saracens I was buzzing. It’s a huge honour to be looked at by one of the top rugby clubs in the world. Not everyone gets a chance to play for a club like Saracens,” he said. “I can’t wait to join the pack and be part of the Sarries family.”
