Romain Carmignani departs La Rochelle
Stade Rochelais announces that Romain Carmignani, the coach in charge of the defence, is ceasing his duties within the professional staff as of today, at his request and in agreement with the Club.
A former player for Stade Rochelais for seven seasons (156 matches), Romain left the Club at the end of his career before returning to coach the Espoirs in 2018, then joining the professional staff in 2020. He has thus been involved in many important stages of the Club's history.
As part of discussions regarding the staff organization for next season, Romain expressed a desire to pursue a new direction in his career. He requested to be released from his duties, and the Club accepted this request.
Stade Rochelais warmly thanks him for his commitment and contribution over the years, and wishes him all the best for the future.
