Rob Howley keen to return to Wales

Former Wales scrumhalf and attack coach, Rob Howley, has indicated that he hopes to return to Wales in the near future.  

Currently in Canada, Howley seems keen to coach one of Wales’ provincial sides.  

"I'd love to,” Howley said. “The intellectual property I have gained from being part of a coaching team that I believe was one of the best in the world has been huge for me. 

"The Italy job was on the cards for me and I could be Italy coach now, but then the circumstances changed. That's the way it is an I've accepted it now. 

"I'm grateful to be back in the game but of course I would like to coach in Wales with one of the regions. 

"Welsh rugby is very close to my heart and I'm very passionate about it having come through the system. 

"I'm looking forward to this Canada opportunity with games against Wales and England but you never know what is around the corner."
