Plenty for Stormers to think about

The DHL Stormers returned to Cape Town on Sunday knowing that their defeat to the Toyota Cheetahs in Bloemfontein had blown their chance of being able to control the South African Vodacom Super Rugby conference race from here on.


They also blew their chance to go second on the overall log, with the Waratahs doing them a favour earlier on Saturday in beating the Brumbies in Canberra.

By not even picking up a bonus point in Bloemfontein, the Stormers saw themselves drop from third position to being out of the six team play-off bracket as they took up seventh with five matches to be played…
