Queensland managed to put in an 80min performance as they outscore the Vikings 36-23.

Vikings looked dangerous in the beginning of the first half but could never manage to sustain their attack.

Queensland had the advantage of having a solid platform to attack from by dominating the scrums.

This aided them to regularly get over the gain line. Hamish Stewart showed his experience with a few sensational breaks and scoring an individualistic try to take the lead at a crucial time.
