The club competed in Pro D2 until winning the 2011 promotion playoffs.

3. Béziers (11 title wins)

Beziers were a force to be reckoned with during the 1960-1980 period, winning 8 titles in just 10 years alone (1971-1981).

They were not immune to loss, however; After a chain of bad performances, the team were relegated to Pro D2 at the end of 2004–05 season.

2. Stade Français (14 title wins)

Stade Français were the second team ever to win the French Championship title in 1893 after Racing 93 sat on the throne in 1892.

They have gone to win the title 14 times, despite currently sitting at number 8 on the table this season with 3 losses and 1 draw.

Toulouse have won the French Championship title a record of 19 times and are the most successful club in Europe, having also won the Heineken Cup a record four times – in 1996, 2003, 2005 and 2010.

They are currently 5th on the 2016/17 table with 18 points.
