Melbourne Rising name 2017 Squad

The Melbourne Rising have named an 32-player squad for the 2017 National Rugby Championship (NRC).

Head coach Zane Hilton has included six Australian U20s representatives, along with seven members of the Melbourne Rebels U20s squad for the nine-week national underpinning competition.

Along with 17 Rising debutants, the squad features the experience of Lloyd Johansson, Fereti Sa’aga and Sione Tafua, who have played in all three seasons of the NRC.
