Full-back Matthew Morgan has signed a new deal to remain at Arms Park for next season.
Morgan was set to come out of contract in the summer but has now signed a long-term extension.
Morgan, 25, said: “I’m happy to have signed and I’m really excited about what we can achieve here, hopefully we can kick on and try to win some silverware.
“I’ve really enjoyed playing at the Arms Park. With the players we have, the 3G pitch suits us down to the ground and I feel like we’re playing some good rugby..."
Morgan joined Wales’ Capital Region ahead of the 2016-17 season and has so far made 43 appearances, scoring 11 tries in the process, five of which have come in the last five home games at Cardiff Arms Park.
He is the tenth player to commit to Cardiff Blues in recent weeks, following on from the likes of Ellis Jenkins, Macauley Cook and Lloyd Williams, and is brimming with optimism for the future.
