Key Duo Commit to the Lions

The Lions have secured the services of two of their key players have re-signed for the 2019 Super Rugby season.
Flyhalf Elton Jantjies and centre Lionel Mapoe have both re-signed with the side having helped the Lions to three consecutive Super Rugby Finals.
Both players are currently with the Springbok squad for the Rugby Championship and will wear the Red and White of the Lions next season.
Jantjies was one of just two players to play every single minute of Super Rugby this season, while Mapoe scored three tries in 16 appearances for the side and started the final against the Crusaders.
Both players also have a considerable amount of Super Rugby experience having both made over 100 appearances in the competition.
The pair were both linked with moves away from the Lions with Mapoe reportedly looking to test himself abroad, while Perpignan and Ulster were reportedly interested in Jantjies' services.
