Jordie Barrett in line for Leinster debut off the bench

The Leinster Rugby team, proudly sponsored by Bank of Ireland, to take on Bristol Bears in Round 1 of the Investec Champions Cup at Ashton Gate Stadium (KO: 5.30pm, live on Premier Sports 1) has been named by Head Coach Leo Cullen.

With the Irish internationals returning from the Autumn Nations Series, there are nine personnel changes from the team who started last Friday's 27-20 win over Ulster in Belfast.

Jack Conan is retained as captain while new arrival Jordie Barrett looks set to make his Leinster debut off the bench.

Sam Prendergast has been given the nod at ten after making his Ireland debut in November, with Jamison Gibson-Park returning to partner him at scrum-half.

Garry Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw form a familiar partnership in the centres and Ciarán Frawley has been named at full-back. Jordan Larmour retains his place from last week's game while Jimmy O'Brien switches to the wing.

In the pack, Max Deegan keeps his place alongside Conan, with Josh van der Flier returning from Irish duty to complete the back row.

Joe McCarthy and James Ryan make up the second row with Jack Boyle and Rabah Slimani retained from the win over Ulster, while Rónan Kelleher slots in at hooker.

Barrett has been named among the replacements, with Ross Byrne and Luke McGrath offering the halfback cover.

Gus McCarthy and Thomas Clarkson return to the Leinster matchday squad for the first time since making their Irish debuts last month, with Andrew Porter also included on the bench.

Club captain Caelan Doris takes the number 20 shirt after playing every minute of Ireland's Autumn Nations Series, with RG Snyman rounding off the replacements.
