Jake Gordon re-signs with Waratahs

The NSW Waratahs have announced that halfback Jake Gordon has signed a two-year extension with the Super Rugby side.

Gordon joined the Waratahs in 2015 as part of the extended playing squad has been capped 10 times for the Waratahs, including six starts, scoring five tries. 

The 23-year-old had an outstanding season in 2016 in both the Shute Shield and the NRC with the NSW Country Eagles, finishing the season with the Eagles as the joint leading try-scorer, with nine tries.

In the same year he was voted as the NRC Players’ Player at the annual awards.

Born in Sydney, Jake grew up in Newtown and attended Blackwattle Bay School in Glebe, playing his first rugby with the Canterbury Juniors before joining Sydney University where he has been in first grade since 2013.


Off the field, Gordon has an interest in personal training and is studying for a degree in Health and Movement at Sydney University.
