Huw Jones ruled out of Pro 14 semi

Glasgow Warriors centre Huw Jones will miss this Saturday's 1872 Cup decider against Edinburgh and the home Guinness Pro14 semi-final with an eye socket injury.

Jones picked up the injury during last Saturday's defeat to Ulster in Belfast and Warriors coach Dave Rennie confirmed the injury would keep the midfielder on the sidelines for three weeks.

“Huw’s no good,” said Rennie. “He’s got a couple of slight fractures around the eye socket. It’s a two to three-week recovery we think so there’s still a chance he could play again this season. But not this weekend.”
