Leinster come away with a one try victory in what was an absolute cracker of a game. Munster didn't give up for the entire 80 minutes and continually threatened to snatch it from their visitors, but it was the home side that prevailed in the end.
Leinster went in with a 14-7 lead at HT, thanks to tries from Rory O'Loughlin. Ian Keatley hit back for the men in red, with an intercept, to keep them in the game.
The second half was again a tight affair with Sexton kicking a number of penalties and Earls going over twice for Munster to win them a losing BP. The turnaround fixture between these sides in Thomond park is already shaping up to be a highly important encounter.
