Emphatic win for the Crusaders as they head into playoffs having won their last 17 games at home. The home side came out firing with Jack Goodhue scoring in the opening 5 minutes of the game. George Bridge scored his first try of the game in the 22nd minute before Melani Nanai got one back for the Blues. A try either side of half time extended the Crusaders lead to 21 points. The Blues then grabbed a rare penalty try against the Crusaders in the 55th minute. George Bridge then completed his hattrick with two tries in 10 minutes as the Crusaders took full control of the match. Sam Whitelock and Bryn Hall finished off the scoring for the Crusaders as they claimed a 54-17 victory over the Blues who weren't able to celebrate a win in Jerome Kaino's final game in New Zealand.
