HIGHLIGHTS: 2018 Super Rugby Round 18: Chiefs v Brumbies
- 1866
An extremely exciting finish to this match as the Brumbies looked to keep their playoff hopes alive but the Chiefs will breath a sigh of relief as they were able to hold onto the win. The home sides raced into a 17-0 lead heading into the break following tries by Nathan Harris and Damian McKenzie. Henery Speight sparked the comeback with a try early in the second before Johnny Fa'auli finished off a fantastic try following an interception by Damian McKenzie and a chip over the top by his brother Marty McKenzie. The Brumbies looked to steal it at the death with tries by Tom Banks and a second for Henry Speight but a late, controversial, knock on saw the Chiefs get a scrum and McKenzie cleared it into touch. Full time: Chiefs 24-19 Brumbies.
