Exeter sign Atkins: Aviva Premiership side Exeter Chiefs have announced that they have signed Edinburgh second-row Ollie Atkins. The Australian signs for the Chiefs after 2 years at Edinburgh in the Pro12. Atkins will look to fill the void of current Exeter skipper Dean Mumm who is Waratahs bound. Atkins is coach Rob Baxter's 4th signing, joining the likes of Geoff Parling, Ollie Woodburn and Michelle Campagnaro. Standing at 6ft 6in and weighing 18 stone, Atkins will be looking to add firepower to a growing Chiefs side.
Matamua Connacht bound: Connacht have announced the signing of back row forward Nepia Fox-Matamua. The New Zealander will join at the start of the 2015/16 season for the Pro12 side and has signed a two year deal. Matamua has featured in the ITM Cup for Auckland making his debut in 2012. The open side flanker will act as a replacement for Willie Faloon, who is re-joining fellow Irish side Ulster for the 2015 season.
