Champions Cup Highlights: Harlequins v Bath
- 1210
With tough conditions at Twickenham Stoop, scoring was always going to be tough. However, many would have expected Bath to some how pull it off. Instead, they were penalised 3 times in the opening 15 minuetes and Marcus Smith was up to the occassion converting all three penalties. Bath did not make thigs any easier for themselves as it took them 53 minutes to get onto the scoreboard. By this stage they were already trailing by 12 and Freddie Burns decided to convert a penalty of his own. James Lang then landed a 50 metre penalty in the 75th minute, stretching the home sides lead. Elia Elia was binned in the 75th minute for a dangerous tackle, giving Bath a glimmer of hope. But all they could get from it was three points as Bath had to settle for a losing bonus point. This was the only game that a try was not scored in.
