Bulls without Pollard

The Vodacom Bulls will be without Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard for this weekend’s Vodacom Super Rugby clash against the Emirates Lions at Emirates Airlines Park.
Pollard sustained a contusion to his knee and pulled up during practice on Thursday, prompting the Bulls to rather be precautionary and give him the weekend off so that he can recover better.
Coach Frans Ludeke said that Pollard could probably have played at a push, but decided that because the flyhalf wasn’t confident in the injury, he would rather not risk him.
