Bordeaux v Munster | Bordeaux Player Ratings

Bordeaux beat Munster to advance to the Champions Cup Semi Final's. Munster with too much to do and possibly yet to recover from the big result last week. Here are our UBB player ratings

  1. Jefferson Poirot 6
Not his best day at scrum time but handy around the park

  2. Maxime Lamothe 7
Busy in open play and great at line out time

  3. Ben Tameifuna 7
Beast on the carries and won a scrum penalty but also had a so so day at the set piece

  4. Adam Coleman 7
Menace at the Munster line out and got through a lot of work with good outcomes. Along with Cazeaux and Diaby combined to concede 6 penalties with two each

  5. Cyril Cazeaux 4
As with Coleman was great on attacking and defensive line out's but was yellow carded twice to see red with the game in the balance

  6. Mahamadou Diaby 7
Not oustanding with one or two errors but made the most tackles of any other forward

  7. Guido Petti 8
A constant in the faces of Munster, doing a lot of the grunt work and the line out king for Bordeaux with 6 takes

  8. Pete Samu 8
Great outing and a brilliant linking and open play 8 to perfectly suit the UBB style

  9. Maxime Lucu 8
A game with sprinkles of good and poor moments. He has a great kick but sometimes put in poor nudges and passes. Made a try saving and possible game saving tackle on 75 minutes and then set up LBB for the match sealing try moments later

  10. Mathieu Jalibert 7
Downside of his game was off the tee, besides that he was unlocking the Munster defence with his passing and kicking game

  11. Louis Bielle-Biarrey 6
Not at his best in finishing but realised those issues early and linked well to keep the ball alive

  12. Rohan Janse van Rensburg 6
Big tackles and a couple of good runs, a poorly executed kick pass early in the game cost UBB a try.

  13. Yoram Moefana 6
Heavily involved all game but cost Bordeaux more turnovers than any other player. He made the most tackles in the game with 13 (missed 3)

  14. Damian Penaud 7
Superb on attack. He pops up on both wings and in midfield but missed the most tackles on the day with four

  15. Jon Echegaray 7
Solid outing and runs very hard with ball in hand. A Yellow card resulting in a penalty try hurt his rating

  16. Connor Sa - 6
  17. Matis Perchaud - 7
  18. Sipili Falatea - 7
  19. Pierre Bochaton - 6
  20. Marko Gazotti - 6
  21. Bastien Vergnes-Taillefer - 6
  22. Yann Lesgourgues - 6
  23. Pablo Uberti - 6
