Blue Bulls see off fiesty Griffons

The Vodacom Blue Bulls ran in five tries to record a comfortable 40-21 (halftime 27-7) win over the Down Touch Griffons at the Loftus B ground in Pretoria on Friday afternoon.


The win sees the Blue Bulls move to the top of the Vodacom Cup North section log, one point ahead of the Xerox Golden Lions who enjoyed a bye this weekend.


The Blue Bulls scored within the first minute as Jamba Ulengo breezed over the chalk and within a quarter of an hour they had crossed the line twice more through fullback Kefentse Mahlo and hooker Arno van Wyk.
