Beard backs Wales to create history in South Africa

Adam Beard believes that Wales can capitalise on being written off this July.
Wales head to South Africa where they will face the World Champion Springboks in a three-test series with the first test taking place in Pretoria on 2 July.
Wayne Pivac's charges arrive in South Africa off the back of a disappointing Six Nations campaign where they finished fifth overall and lost their final match against Italy.
However, Beard believes that Wales thrive with the underdog tag.
"I think we work best when we are actually underdogs," said Beard.
"Going into this tour, nobody has given us any sort of chance to go out there and get a victory against South Africa. As a Welsh nation, we thrive under those circumstances."
"No Wales team has gone out to South Africa and won (an international against South Africa)," added Beard.
"It will be a great challenge to go out there and create some history of our own.
"We were three points away from beating South Africa and being in a World Cup final three years ago and last autumn we were unlucky not to get a victory.
"There is no better opportunity now to dust off what has happened, get on this tour and prove a point to everyone who is doubting us."
