Dyer gets the match underway for Southland

Taranaki hosts Southland in round 4 of the Mitre 10 Cup.
Taranaki has two wins and one defeat from their opening three games, with victories over Bay of Plenty 30-22 and Hawke’s Bay 55-28, while they went down to Tasman 25-20.
Southland is winless from the opening three weeks with losses to Otago, Auckland and Manawatu. They will be desperate to get their first win of the campaign.
Head to head it stands at 32 wins for Taranaki, 20 for Southland with one draw.
Taranaki thumped Southland in their last encounter back in 2014 by 41-19.
