Hello and welcome to the second match of the 2014 Rugby Championship between South Africa and Argentina live from Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria. The last time these two teams met in South Africa, Argentina were demolished by 70 points. Since then Argentina have gone through a major reshuffle which saw former coach Santiago Phelan departing for Daniel Hourcade. Prop Ramiro Herrera makes his first start against any of the top three teams in the world after Juan Figallo was again ruled out through injury.
The Springboks have been on an impressive run under Heyneke Meyer after a string of victories against a tough Welsh outfit as well as Scotland. Jean de Villiers is back to captain the Boks for the first time this year and is paired up with debutant Damian De Allende as a center combination. Eben Etzebeth makes a welcomed comeback into the squad after a lengthily injury break and adds some vital depth in the lock department. Handre Pollard cracks the nod to get his second start for the boks and has a mountain of expectation on his shoulders to deal with.

Although the Boks may be the favourites for today’s match, Argentina will take strength in the fact that they have run the Boks close on a few occasions of late.
